Synopsis For Northern California Waters A strong pressure gradient over the northern California waters will maintain gale force winds over the outer waters through Thursday night. The gales will be accompanied by steep wind waves...and fresh swell will move into the nearshore waters. Winds and seas will subside slightly on Friday...but are expected to increase again over the weekend.
