Ok,so starting a blog,I have nothing to talk about really. One of those days I have nothing on my mind.
Aggrevating commute into work,of course I only live 10 minutes from work,so not sure I can call it commuting, but police had several streets blocked off on my way in,so had to double back and find an alternate route, and of course along with everyone else it was backed up traffice on all the roads.
Front is slowly making its way along the eastern areas, still lots of clouds and a cool breeze.Much better weather starting tomorrow through Father's day weekend.Cool wind off the ocean will keep eastern sections cooler than farther inland which will well up into the 70's. More summerlike weather for first part of next week.
Redsox had an easy win down in Miami, and are not off to Chicago to face the Cubs over the weekend.Redsox are definitely better on the road than at home so far this season.

It appears that there have been quite a few traffic log jams on various highways and by-ways this morning. Perhaps this morning's peek-a-boo games of the sun amongst remaining cloudy skies is throwing people off a bit. LOL! In any case, I sure don't miss combating rush hour traffic or other reasons for being stuck there! UGH!
I think one of your local webcams captured you and your sentiment while stuck in traffic this am! LOL!
Glad to see an improved weather forecast, as well, and one that stretches well into our official summer solstice next Wednesday. There are no longer any threats of t'storms, accompanying those 80ish temp days, which is a major relief to me in particular. Father's Day also looks to be spectacular with sunny skies and perfect temps of 75F. Hope you and other dads can partake of fun activities on your honored occasion.
Speaking of honored occasions, thought I'd post a gentle reminder that today happens to be Flag Day in the U.S. As a young child, I recall my Dad always attaching our American flag in its holder, just outside our front door, on Memorial and Flag days. In recent years, people have become seemingly complacent about this due to war and political fatigue. Nevertheless, we should always honor that glorious symbol which represents sacrificed lives for our freedoms today. Long may it wave!
Thankfully traffic problems are few and far betweend since my work and home are so close,so I'm not going to complain.
Thank you for reminding me about Flag day,I forgot. Yesterday I had intended on writing a blog about it. These days,I need to write notes the minute I think of something or its gone.
It is a special day,and unfortuntely our news and talk shows rarely mention it.No matter what your views on our government, unhappiness with the war,or whatevery our beef is,you should stil honor our flag.It represents freedom and too many of our men and women died defending its principles.
It also represents freedom. We are so lucky in this country to have freedoms,so many other countries only dream about.
