INVEST 96L and 96L! BOTH could be NAMED STORMS IN OCTOBER!

Hello everyone,

TROPICAL OUTLOOK:
Invest 96L is located in the very far Western Caribbean near the Yucatan Peninsula. The NHC is now giving it a 70% chance of development. Models are fairly consensus on tracking 96L toward the NNW toward the Yucatan and emerging it into the GOM. We to watch this very close as a Cold front will be coming to make it turn. Still a possiblity that 96L just turns toward the WEST and keeps going toward the Pacific. Need to watch this very close!

Invest 97L is approaching the Windward Islands and moves into the Caribbean. Invest 97L looked to be in very bad shape just 24hours ago as strong Shear was hitting it very hard. Shear has relaxed some and will continue to improve for 97L as it moves West into the Caribbean. The intensity models are NOW showing 97L to become a fairly strong Hurricane. Again we need to watch this very close as it moves into the Caribbean after it brings some very severe Weather to the Windward Islands on the Eastern Side of the Caribbean. This could become a very strong Hurricane in a few days.

WOW 2 named storms are possible the last week in October....GEESH!

WINTER WEATHER AND SEVERE WEATHER OUTLOOK:
The next Cold front is coming and a little stronger than the last one for the Midwest and East Coast on about October 28th. The SouthEast will experience some very cool temps for this time of year and the first Snow fall of the year might be coming to the MidWest......WOW just in time for Halloween.

For those wondering about the items needed in place for a Tropical Cyclone to analyze. Water Temps Shear SAL Air Vorticity Convergence Divergence Any of these items not in proper conditions for Tropical Development can keep a system from developing. NHC has declared Invest 96L as TD18! The current location fix they have for TD18 seems a bit to far NorthEast when looking at the current visible Loop. Don't know tho since they have a plane looking around. Member Since: Eylül 2, 2007 Posts: 175 Comments: 19747
