.......time in the Netherlands. We've been extremely busy finishing our appointments business wise and to see many friends and relatives. Good to be back now to spare liver and kidneys. Weather is quite rough but still okay to work or walk.
Yesterday we dived into to the freezer to find some steaks, I must tell you: they matched the pan fried potatoes, brussels sprouts and the Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon from South Africa (only one bottle for the two of us), available at Lidl's for only € 2.99.
Today I'll produce a nice potato-mushroom soup and the small meatballs will have to adapt themselves to live for a short time as a Chili con Carne symbiosis.
Still available are my famous pre-baked "saucijzenbroodjes", vistors welcome or we'll eat them on our own.

..............day today in the Low Lands. Good to see old friends, pity we couldn't see all of them. No The Hague, no Breda, No Groningen, No Maastricht. Hopefully next year.Good friend Hans (we have more friends called Hans. ..............six days in The Netherlands now and we must say: it's good to see many of our friends and family. Our diary is fully booked, money level is descending. ..........the Big Party last tuesday night, ease is coming back to the villages. Consider that people are on holiday here to party for one week or two.
