My weather station has captured gusts up to 40mph so far and sustained winds of 20 to 25. The blur isnt from a bad focus, but from the incredible amount of movement in this shot from the wind alone! You can see how much that sail boat has pitched and banked in just an 8 second exposure

My name is Sean and I enjoy taking pictures of anything I see, especially weather. I have a personal weather station which posts on Weather Underground and www.watchingtheskies.com! I am in the computer biz, but I really enjoy weather and photography. I live in Treasure Island, Florida which is on the Gulf Coast, a neighbor to St. Pete/Tampa, Fl.
